Short description

The  Danube  Transnational  Programme is  launching the second call  for  proposals for  its priorities 1,  2  and 3. The  Programme  offers  financial support  to  transnational  projects contributing to the development of a more innovative, better accessible and sustainable Danube Region. The programme has been designed under the territorial cooperation goal of the European Union. In practice, the programme combines financing from the EU structural funds-European  Regional  Development  Fund  (ERDF) and  the  EU  external  funds–Instrument  for  Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II) and European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI). The Second call for proposals of the Danube Transnational Programme is open from 09.05.2017 to 06.06.2017 (by 15:00 h. CET).  

The Second call for proposals is open to the Specific Objectives 1.2, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 and 3.2 and restricted to some topics for the other SOs, except SO 4.1, which will not be addressed, according to the following table:

APPLICANTS PACK

The Danube Transnational Programme has produced an Applicants Pack to provide stakeholders and potential project applicants with appropriate and high-quality information about the programme, the options and conditions for the development of their project ideas into full-fledged project proposals and the assessment and selection procedures for proposals. The Application Pack includes the following documents: Cooperation Programme, Applicants Manual, Call Announcement, draft Application Form, Guidelines for the Application Form, declarations and other documents. All these documents will be subsequently published before the call is launched.

A) COOPERATION PROGRAMME

Document developed by the States and Regions of the area covered by the Danube Transnational Programme and approved by the European Commission which defines the priorities as well as the programming and EU funds required to achieve these priorities. It serves to implement a Community support framework, inter alia, to contribute to the Union strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and to the achievement of economic, social and territorial cohesion.

Potential applicants are required to carefully read all the documents included in the Applicants Pack below and to use the compulsory templates for the Application Form. Submission of applications must be done through this online form.

A Seminar addressed to potential applicants was organised in Budapest on 9th February 2017. Click here for more information about it. All seminar presentations on how to submit a successful application were recorded in several videos and are available here. 

The Programme covers 14 countries, 9 of them EU Member States (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany-Baden Württemberg and Bayern, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia) and 5 non-member states (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine). As a general rule, EU financing is only provided to project partners located in the Programme Area.
