Short description

In peripheral and central areas of WBs, cooperation programmes are deeply incorporated in the life of local communities: enhancing economic development, reinforcing relations between the local population and the EU, and re-establishing and strengthening the ties between neighbouring countries.

Description

In the last 15 years, thanks to IPA funds, cross-border and transnational cooperation projects have sparked recovery at community level on the edges of the EU, fostering smooth interaction.
