Innovation Vouchers Programme (Montenegro)
At the Meeting held on 23 September 2021, the Government of Montenegro adopted the Innovation Programme 2021-2024.
The aim of this Programme is to present in one place all relevant programme lines of support for innovation planned in the next period, which will make it easier for the innovation community to identify all the instruments which will be available and focused on the entire development cycle of innovation: from the idea itself to its commercialisation and market launch.
The adopted Programme includes eight programme funding lines of the Ministry of Economic Development, which will be implemented on the basis of public tenders, and six funding lines from the programme framework of the Innovation Fund. The two programme funding lines which will be opened during 2022 (the Innovation Vouchers Programme and the Collaborative Grants Programme) are explained in detail in separate sections, and here we present the remaining four lines which will be opened upon fulfilment of the necessary requirements.
INNOVATION VOUCHERS
This Programme was designed as a simple, fast and efficient financial incentive designed for micro, small and medium enterprises in order to raise the innovation level of their products and improve their competitiveness in the market by means of specialized services of research and development institutions. The aim of the Voucher is to financially stimulate private companies to cooperate with research and development institutions on commercially applicable research activities, so as to make their operations and products more competitive on the market
The Public Call is open until the use of available funds in the total amount of 100,000 euros.
One innovation voucher can cover a maximum of 80% of the total costs of the service provided by a scientific research institution, i.e. a maximum of 8,000 euros. Vouchers are awarded according to the order of received applications, within seven days from the date of submission of the application by the company.
