The Association was established in 2012. Some of the latest activities of the Association of Serbian Monitoring and Evaluation Professionals (ASMEP) for the period from October 2014-Septeber 2015 include:

1) In cooperation with the Slovenian Evaluation Society we have performed an IOCE (Internatinal Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation) project on Enhancing M&E capacities in Serbia and the region as well as a February 2015 event in the Belgrade Media Center “Evaluation and EU funds 2014-2020”.

2) A spring 2015 “M&E and EU Funds” workshop for a number of regional NGOs was held in cooperation with School for Public Policy Mother Teresa from Skopje

3) ASMEP invited and will take part in the upcoming event “Effective Public Admisnitartion”, organized by Center for European Policies on September 9. in Belgrade

4) ASMEP is currently considering with the EU (Danilovgrad) Regional School of Public Administration (RESPA) potentialy performing M&E capacity building events for public servants from the region

5) Preparations are ongoing for Fall series of “M&E and EU Funds” webinars for NGOs in cooperation with Skopje’s Center for Research and Policy Making

6) Currently ASPEM is engaged in fundraising for attending the first West Balkans Evaluators Conference to be held in Srajevo ta the end of October 2015
