The seventh edition of the South-East European Congress and exhibition on Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy and the forum “Save the Planet” (Conference and Exhibition) on Waste Management & Recycling were over with significant results. (Sofia, April 13-15, 2011).

At the exhibition 327 direct participants and represented companies from 32 countries showed their latest products and technologies in the sectors renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste management and recycling. Many of the foreign exhibitors were new to the market of South-East Europe. They got an unique overview of the new market trends and made the right promising connections with the key players in the Balkan Region.

The Congress and the Conference gathered 510 international and regional experts during the three days of business and networking. High-profile speakers debated key industry topics such as:

  • Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Sources Financing;
  • EE & Decentralized Energy;
  • RES Electricity & Smart Grid Platform;
  • Waste Management;
  • Recycling;
  • Waste–to–Energy;
  • Low-Carbon Communities (organized by ICLEI).
