News archive - Ad-Hoc Support Grants Continues through 2022!

On the basis of the Grant Agreement No. 12715 01 signed between the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN), for the provision of financial support to the Project “Protecting Civic Space – Regional Civil SocietyDevelopment Hub”, the Balkan Civil Society Development Network publishes an Open Call for Proposals to Receive Funding for Ad-Hoc Support Grants.

A second round of our Call for Ad-Hoc Support Grants is now open and welcoming new applications and innovative initiatives from the WB6!

During 2020 and 2021, through the Regional Civil Society Development Hub the BCSDN has supported 28 civic initiatives in total, 10 trough the Regional Grant Scheme and 18 trough the Ad-Hoc Grant Scheme, and we are looking forward to continue the sequence during 2022.

The Ad-Hoc Grants support CSOs, CSO Networks, and non-formal initiatives and civic movements in the realization of urgent interventions, needed due to unpredictable changes of the conditions in which they operate or unique, time-bound opportunities for impact, and in the implementation of innovative uptakes in promoting civic space or reinventing CSOs’ established practices. The call aims to contribute to the two main objectives of the Hub: a more enabling environment for civil society, and a more effective, transparent and accountable civil society. The maximum amount of grant support is 10.000 EUR and maximum duration of the intervention is two months.

The revised call is available HERE and it is open until 1 September 2022.

The application form is available HERE.
