News archive - EC publishes call update flash information for H2020 calls

The European Commission (EC), DG Research and Innovation, has published call update flash information for several calls under Horizon 2020, covering the following calls:

  • REC-RPPI-EVOT-AG-2016: "Action grants to explore the role of internet tools in stimulating democratic participation and to investigate how digital tools can contribute to the stronger and longer-term engagement of citizens, under a Pilot Project E-voting: making the best use of modern technologies for more active and democratic voting procedures": This call, which closed on 24 January 2017, received 13 proposals, of which 2 were recommended for funding.

  • REC-RCIT-CITI-AG-2016: "Action grants to foster the successful inclusion and participation of European citizens in their host EU country's civic and political life" received 25 proposals, of which 3 were selected for funding.

  • The evaluation of the SME-Instrument Phase I proposals, with the cut-off date 3 May 2017, looked at 2,165 proposals, of which 409 were above threshold. The number of proposals that can finally be funded will depend on the finally available budget, and the formal selection by EASME, the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, which carries out the evaluation.

  • Under the SME-Instrument Phase II, with the cut-off date 6 April 2017, 1,222 proposals were submitted, of which 620 were above threshold. Again, the number of proposals that can finally be funded will depend on the finally available budget and the formal selection by EASME.
