News archive - Call for Papers: International Conference "EU project collaborations: Challenges for research improvements in agriculture"

Overview

The field of agriculture currently faces immense challenges, including the pressure to provide food security and safety despite the ongoing financial crises and climate changes. Meeting these challenges will require considerable efforts and research expertise, especially in less developed agricultures such as in the Republic of Serbia and other Western Balkan countries. The aim of the AREA project is to improve existing and introduce new research expertise at the Faculty of Agriculture, which will precisely target some of the mentioned challenges in various areas of agriculture and food production. This will be done in collaboration with several leading EU research institutions. Detailed information about the project can be found at the following web site: www.area.agrif.bg.ac.rs.
