News archive - [Call for Contributions] International conference "Good governance in developing countries”
The conference which will be held in Tirana, Albania on December 5-7, 2013 seeks to bring together social science researchers, scholars and policy-makers from the Western Balkans and international research institutions to present and discuss recent research findings related to good governance in transition and developing countries. Particular emphasis will be placed on interdisciplinary and applied research results aiming at in-depth discussions about the challenges faced and solutions adopted regarding all aspects of good governance in developing countries.
Submission requirements
The proposal is expected to be in the form of an extended abstract – it should be between 4 and 5 pages and should not exceed 2000 words in length. The proposal must contain:
a. Page 1 - Title Page – the title, the topic of the conference under which the paper falls, name of the authors, their affiliations and email addresses.
b. Problem Statement (Starting in page 2).
c. Research Objectives
d. Methods
e. Results
f. Conclusions
g. References, if applicable
Please submit articles in both word and PDF format.
The official language of the conference is English; please submit extended abstracts and papers in English.
Paper size: standard 8.5” x 11” letter-size is preferred; orientation: portrait; margins 1 inch.
Font: Times New Roman 12-point, single space.
References should be single-spaced at the end of the text, and should follow the Harvard/APA style.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Board of Scientific Advisors, comprised of leading scholars from well-established research institutions – accepted papers for presentation will be published in the proceedings. This conference is enabled by Regional Research Promotion Programme (RRPP), financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
