Knowledge4Policy platform of the Joint Research Centre - Evidence for Policy

 Knowledge4Policy (“K4P”) was launched by the Joint Research Centre in 2018 (see About Knowledge4Policy), it now includes several knowledge services and a policy focus to prepare synthesis of scientific knowledge for policy makers and an online knowledge community.

Join K4P to learn from experts in evidence-based policymaking and discusswith other K4P members.

Part of the Knowledge for Policy: Concepts & Methods Unit at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC.H1) is the  Evidence-Informed Policy Making team which supports researchers and policymakers to build and establish better connections between scientific knowledge and policymaking by creating new knowledge about concepts and methods at the science and policy interface (e.g. via the Enlightenment 2.0 programme), capacity building in researchers and policymakers in knowledge management for policy and various activities strengthen the science for policy eco-systems (workshops to take stock, discuss and exchange experiences) and nurturing of a European and global community of those professionals committed to evidence-informed policy, engaging also with other key actors at the European Union level.
