Datathlon on Sensitive Data
As part of its series of Hackathons to introduce researchers to the free DICE data management services, a Datathon is being organised by SURF (DICE partner) on the topic of "Privacy and Sensitive Data" to address the challenge of handling privacy and sensitive data.
DICE is delighted to inform you that the EOSCFuture will provide special support for the training of researchers from the Western Balkans region and Ukraine focused on EOSC, Open Science, FAIR and related principles. Through the EOSCFuture project, 15 participants from the WB countries and Ukraine can be funded to participate in this event.
Participants will obtain hands-on experience with managing their sensitive data with the facilities and workflows being developed within the DICE project. Collaborative initiatives and guest presentations from other projects are also planned, offering a rich experience to Datathon participants on all aspects and challenges of sensitive data management.
The main target groups of the event are students and researchers who handle privacy-sensitive data.
