ICT Week in Podgorica
ICT Cortex, in cooperation with the Capital City Podgorica, is organizing the ICT Week event for the first time this year - the Podgorica ICT Week event is aimed at start-ups, young people, children who want to learn programming, experienced programmers, high school students and the wider community that wants to be informed about IT in Montenegro. As part of ICT Week, a whole series of events is planned every day, and will be held in different locations depending on the topic.
It will include the following events:
Monday, 3 October - Opening of the ICT Week and promotion of the Capital City's support to the start-up scene for going to the Web Summit (pitching night)
Tuesday, 4 October - Cyber Security event and Gaming night
Wednesday, 5 October - Day of Young Innovators, Kids Day
Thursday, 6 October - Cortex Academy final event, including high school competition,
and Women in Tech meetup
Friday, 7 October - CBCG FinTech Conference
Saturday, 8 October - ICT conference on smart cities and meetups/panels on various ICT topics
Sunday, 9 October - CBCG Fintech Hackathon
The goal of the event is to bring ICT closer to the wider community, provide young people with new knowledge, but also a competition in the field in which they are the best. In addition, we want to encourage the start-up ecosystem and introduce the community to start-up achievements in Montenegro.
Through ICT Week, young people will learn programming, gaming, robotics, but also learn more about cybersecurity. The end of the event will be marked by the CBCG Hackathon and the presentation of innovative FinTech solutions.
