19th Steering Platform on Research and Innovation, Belgrade 27-28 September 2017
The next Western Balkans Steering Platform on Research and Innovation (19th) will take place in Belgrade on September 27-28, 2017. It is co-chaired by the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Republic of Serbia on behalf of the Western Balkans who will host the event and the European Commission, DG Research and Innovation.
This year, the meeting of the sixth Ministerial Western Balkans Platform on Education and Training will be held together with the Steering Platform on Research and Innovation. The Ministers will meet in the mornings of 28 and 29 September to discuss the Education and Training part of the agenda, and in the afternoon of 28 September to discuss Research and Innovation. Commissioner Hahn and Commissioner Navracsics will be opening the Ministerial meeting, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus+ programme.
