The international conference SEE ENERGY - Connect & Supply in 2016 in Novi Sad, organized by the National Association for biomass - Serbia, aims at networking national and international companies involved in the renewable energy sector.

Description

The adoption of new legislation encouraging the production of electricity by renewable sources, and the new "feed-in" tariffs for electricity production from renewable energy sources, create a favorable business environment for investment opportunities in the energy sector. The objective of the SEE Energy conference is to connect leading companies and international institutions from the sector of renewable energy, in order to boost the development of renewable energy sector in Southeast Europe and establish new business contacts between large companies, SMEs and local agricultural producers.

Danube SlideThe cultivation of biomass has been recently fostered by amendments to the Law on Agricultural Land of 29 December 2015, which allows long-term lease of agricultural land for the purpose of increasing the energy efficiency of growing crops and plantation biomass industrial and retail volume. Participants in the conference will present the RS Ministry of Agriculture legislative changes and close the process of leasing land for use for this purpose.

The conference will bring together 200+ participants from 100 companies from Serbia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, as well as representatives of national and provincial institutions, chambers of commerce, associations, investment and commercial banks . The conference will focus on the following topics:

  • New Perspectives for the use of biomass and improvement of the environment
  • Innovations in business with biomass
  • How to grow more biomass and expand its use?
  • How to develop and provide support for business with biomass?
