Green Paper - The European Research Area: New Perspectives

On April 4, 2007 the Green Paper on ERA was presented. It raises a number of questions on how to deepen and widen the European Research Area so that if fully contributes to the renewed Lisbon strategy.
The questions deal with the following main areas:

Realising a single labour market for researchers
Developing world-class research infrastructures
Strengthening research institutions
Sharing knowledge
Optimising research programmes and priorities
Opening to the world: international cooperation in S&T

The consultation process is open till August 31, 2007.
