S&T statistics and indicators in South Eastern Europe (power point)
This is a power point presentation conducted by Tiago Santos Pereira from Centro de Estudos Sociais, Coimbra University Portugal, held at a UNESCO Workshop in Skopje 2007. It deals with S&T statistics and indicators in South Eastern Europe, giving an overview of the state of the art of the production of S&T statistics and indicators in the region. It also deals with the development of S&T statistics and indicators and the organisation of statistical systems. In this respect, it presents different models of the organisation of S&T statistical systems. It ends with conclusions and some recommendations (i.e. greater interaction between users and producers is important to set as a new objective, essence of international cooperation etc).
