Croatian Program for Innovative Technological Development (HITRA)

The copy of the website presents the case study of HITRA (presented in 2004) from the Woldbank which states that Croatia lags behind developed countries. However the financial support programme of Ministry of Science, Education and Sports is creating an environment for active layers of society with the best education and greatest prosperity to find its place in a broad spectrum of creating a knowledge-based small and medium enterprises. Innovation, technology system and its development in Croatia are then presented. It also deals with financing innovation - institutional support, financial support and last but not the least programme HITRA (Croatian Programme for Innovative Technological Development), which was adopted by the Government of Croatia, is presented.
