Call for Tender: GIZ Albania - ProSEED / ConnectIT Phase 2 / Connecting students and MSMEs to digitize business processes

Short description

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), Office Tirana requests applications for services in relation to the GIZ Program for “Sustainable Economic and Regional Development, Employment Promotion and Vocational Education and Training” in Albania (GIZ ProSEED 2.0), implemented on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, has the overarching objective that the “employment situation in Albania has improved, including digital and green elements”.

The ProSEED programme invites qualified entities/ consortia to express their interest and submit proposals for implementing “ConnectIT Phase 2 - Connecting students and MSMEs to digitize business processes”. The aim of #ConnectIT programme is to utilize the technical assistance of academia and IT students for the digitalization of selected business processes. Following the success of the precedent ConnectIT pilot, implemented under EU for Innovation, tenderers are requested to scale-up ConnectIT in its 2nd phase, at the interface between academia and businesses, involving more students and MSMEs than ever before.

The ConnectIT activity is foreseen from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023 or up to 12 months from start of contract if the start can be realized before 1 October 2022.

Participation is open to all legal companies which are effectively established in Albania. It is desirable, but not necessary, that the bidder provides the services of this intervention in a consortium with other consulting companies or legal entities such as universities, NGOs etc.
