First HSbooster.eu Open Call

Short description

The first HSbooster.eu Open Call will provide the opportunity for ongoing or complete H2020 and Horizon Europe projects to apply for practical guidance to assess the standardisation readiness of project results and match them up with standardisation experts who can guide the project on how these results can feed into standardisation working groups or technical committees.

Applications for the first Open Call are now open. To apply you should provide information on the project, its standardisation-related objectives and what you hope to gain from the booster service.

The call will run from 21st June - 30th September 2022 and services will commence in September 2022.

Call topics

The topics of the first Open Call are divided into two categories:

  • Priority Topics for this first open call have been selected from the general HSbooster.eu Open Call topics.They have been selected on level of priority and are either linked to a SReq (Standardsiation Request) from the European Commission or are classified as being highly urgent (e.g. pandemics). Priority Topics are indicated in the table below.
  • Other Topics cover all general HSbooster.eu Open Call topics. These are based on the Standardisation Urgencies highlighted in the EU’s Standardisation Strategy.

Projects can apply for either a “priority” or “other” topic in this call. Preference may be given to “priority” topics

How to apply

Applying for the booster service takes about 30 minutes. All applications must be made on behalf of any ongoing or complete H2020 or Horizon Europe project.

You cannot save your progress so please take a look at the application form in full before applying. We recommend you prepare content before making the application.

To make the application, you will need:

  • Basic administrative information on the project (GA number, full name etc.)
  • Information about the project objectives and those related to standardisation
  • Details on why you are making the application and the goals you would like to achieve with the support of the booster services.
