RRI-ICT Forum project

The RRI-ICT Forum project aims to analyse, support and promote the contribution of both Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) in ICT research and innovation under H2020. Developed by a partnership committed to facilitating a collaborative agenda, the RRI-ICT Forum coordinates and empowers Horizon 2020 ICT research and innovation projects.

Within the RRI-ICT Forum project, RRI can be defined as “an inclusive approach to Research and Innovation (R&I), to ensure that societal actors work together during the whole research and innovation process. It aims to better align both the process and outcomes of R&I, with the values, needs, and expectations of European society.”

Over the course of the project, the RRI-ICT Forum will:

  • Actively interact with other RRI/SSH-intensive (H2020 & non-H2020) ICT-related projects;
  • Develop of an open community devoted to RRI in ICT;
  • Organise annual multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary open events;
  • Publish annual reports analysing the emergence of RRI in ICT;
  • Contribute to conferences and publications.

RRI-ICT Forum is a collaborative project, developed by a partnership committed to curate the RRI-ICT domain in H2020, facilitate community views and agenda, and empower other projects and the European Commission. This partnership includes complementary partners with a longstanding experience in the analysis of the interactions between ICT and societies.
