EURAXESS Center Czech Republic


The Network EURAXESS Czech Republic provides information about jobs and funding  opportunities in the Czech Republic, entry conditions, social security, health and pension coverage, taxation issues, daily life and family to all foreign researchers prior to the move to the Czech Republic and after an arrival.

The Network cooperates also with governmental  and non-governmental institutions and organizations  MEYS, Ministry of Finance, Employment and Social Issues, Foreign Police Office, Czech Social Security Administration, etc.) and releases and updates several informative and promotional  materials in a printed as well as in an electronic form.

Network EURAXESS Czech Republic was created as a part of project "Czech Mobility Centre" in the period 2005-2007. This project was funded  by the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission  and by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. Thus a network of collaborating contact points was created in the regions of the Czech Republic.Currently there are two Service centres in the Network (Prague and Brno) and seven Local contact points. In the period 2008-2011 the Network is funded by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic on the basis of EUPRO programme.
