News archive - [Event Announcement] European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) Online May 9-12, 2022

The European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) will again be an online conference in 2022. Following an extensive consultation, many regular EUBCE participants support holding this high-level international conference online again in 2022, as in the last two years during the Covid-19 pandemic. There will be no live, face-to-face conference and exhibition again this year.

The EUBCE organisers have waited as long as possible to see how the Covid-19 pandemic might evolve over the coming months. As we are sure you will understand, the numerous challenges still faced concerning travel and the uncertainties of the hoped-for improvements in the overall health situation, it is not possible to guarantee that a live, face-to-face conference could go ahead in a sufficiently large and coherent form.

With a large number of contributions already submitted for 2022 and the planning work of the Scientific and Industry Committees largely completed, the organisers have been able to prepare the usual extensive programme of events within the conference and exhibition. The online conferencing tool has been further refined and improved to allow participants extended interaction both before and after the very active EUBCE dates of May 9-12, 2022.The European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) will again be an online conference in 2022.
