Bio of the speaker:
Andrea Pockovic is the founder of BalkanHire, a recruitment firm working with small-to-medium remote companies from Europe, USA, Australia and Canada. As a native of the Balkans, she herself has worked for U.S. and Australian startups for over 6 years before starting her own business. This experience opened Andrea’s eyes to the current talent gaps that Western companies often overlook. She began BalkanHire to bring to the table what other recruitment and HR companies had not. With the possibilities of remote work, she hopes to bridge the gap between the Balkan and Western workforces to create a better business environment and more opportunities for all.
