TeRRIFICA (Jan. 2019 - Dec. 2022) focused on how to influence climate change policies by fostering Responsible Research and Innovation in six European regions. The project explored future visions of a climatic landscape in 2030 and exploited the possibilities of action that were suggested through a crowd-mapping tool by various actors in the pilot cities and regions. These future visions integrate RRI into climate actions where science and society actively collaborate, and new forms of innovations are co-created in the open, transferable environment. The venue of the Conference will be the Yugoslav Film Archive. The Conference will be part of the wider Open Science Communication Conference 2022, which will be held on 24-25 November in Belgrade. There will be stakeholders from all over Europe in the city that week, and therefore an excellent opportunity for networking.

In the aftermath of our Joint Final Conference, the “Open Science Communication Conference – OpenSciComm 2022” will take place on the 24th and 25th of November 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia. The Conference is organised by the Center for the Promotion of Science. Space for exhibitors, B2B events, and professional exchanges is possible based on interest.

The OpenSciComm 2022 conference will connect complex research concepts and topics with the concepts that are familiar to the public such as climate change, artificial intelligence, cutting-edge technologies, etc. The main goal of the conference is the presentation of recent, novel and inspirational practices, exchange of ideas and approaches, and networking between international peers.

The attendance at the conference is free of charge, but with a limited capacity. Travel and accommodation costs can’t be reimbursed.
