The Europeans Podcast and Are We Europe Audio are looking for new contributors to our podcast series “This Is What A Generation Sounds Like”, supported by Allianz Kulturstiftung.

We are looking for young Europeans (aged 18-34) to tell intimate stories from their village / town / city / region which will be presented as beautiful visual animations as well as audio-only podcasts. You do not need to be an audio professional or journalist to take part.

We’re looking for Europeans with fascinating stories to tell. We’re especially interested in stories that touch on pressing social and political issues.

Storytellers will be paid €800 to work with our producers on bringing their personal stories to life in one of the series’ episodes. We are open to submissions from duos or teams (the fee would be shared between members).

For this round of pitches, we are particularly keen to hear from people on the frontlines of the climate crisis, and those struggling with a precarious work or housing situation. You do not need to speak perfect English.
