The International Conference on European Studies which is organized by the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Epoka University in collaboration with Europa-Universität Flensburg, Germany, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Albania, Balkan History Association, Romania and supported by Erasmus Plus Exchange Program, is ready to launch its 7th edition. 

 

ICES' 20 titled " The Power and Politics of Transitional Justice" will be held at Epoka University, Tirana/ Albania 
 

Date: 27 to 28 April 2020

A key goal of this conference is to contribute in a substantial way to the study and research of transitional justice and to catalyze the growth of the field in the Western Balkan region. It is organized with the special contribution of international researchers from universities and institutions with an excellent reputation

The conference targets scholars of Political Science, European Studies, History, Anthropology, International Relations, Law, Journalism, Economics and other related disciplines, as well as professional activists.


Abstracts should be 500 words maximum and sent to ces@epoka.edu.al until March 25, 2020.  Accepted abstracts will be notified via email until March 30, 2020. The workshop has no fee, but the participants are responsible to cover travel and accommodation costs themselves.

The Journal of European Social Research will co-organize the ICES’20 Best Paper Award competition. Selected papers will be part of an edited book on transitional justice.
